Styling Chunky Chelsea Boots

I've been bold and ordered these boots

Has anyone seen, particularly in beige, really cool ways to style them? Or a fashion bloggers who have this style who I can look up and steal ideas from?

Wear them with a midi skirt. The green ones are nicer. Not keen on thee beige but my taste in shoes is conservative.

What's the attraction with chelsea boots? They look like wellies to me. Sorry!

Wendsleydale · 31/08/2021 20:08

I'm old. They remind me of the boots fishmongers wear. Smile

Beachlovingirl · 31/08/2021 20:09

Agree with midi dress. Do you have lots of these op?
I actually like them but know I would mark them on the first wear and they would be too bulky to drive in so I would hardly ever pick them to wear.

Skinny jeans and a heavy knit cards or jumper , big coat for winter ! They will come quite high up your leg so I hope you aren't short ! They would come to my knee ! 🙈

I'm typically more of a mini skirt girl in general, but I got a split-thigh midi dress this summer and really liked it, so might try and find a midi skirt that I can pair with my Autumn/Winter layers.

Summaluvin, I love those boots and am sad to see they are sold out. I ordered these the other day and have also been wondering how to style them: grenson.com/doris-chelsea-boots-for-women-in-brown-pull-up-leather
In online pics they look best with straight-leg or boyfriend-fit jeans rolled up so you can see the top of the boot. Also with midi dresses - or minis if you have the legs or an undernourished
gazelle.

TuftyRusty · 01/09/2021 08:24

I’m looking at some - but black - and was browsing and saw this article www.whowhatwear.com/chelsea-boot-outfits

I think I’ll mostly wear them with jeans, jumper and oversized coat. But I like them with skirts too.

WhoEatsPopTarts · 01/09/2021 08:41

Long skirts & dresses.
Not skinny jeans as mentioned above, they’re not around this season.

WhoppingBigBackside · 01/09/2021 11:13

I like the grensons, the uppers look soft and supple. The beige ones don't look like the uppers would be supple.

I wear miniskirts but probably don't have the legs.

I don't have a gazelle, but no pet of mine would be undernourished.

Beefcurtains79 · 01/09/2021 12:09

Don’t wear them with skinny jeans! MIDI skirts and wide leg or straight leg jeans

Brogues · 01/09/2021 12:51

I have some similar but knee length and was planning on wearing them with leggings but actuations straight/mom jeans worked the best. A couple of my midis worked but not across the board. My DH thinks they look like wellies Smile

Brogues · 01/09/2021 12:52

Actually not actuations!

notwavingbutdrowning5 · 01/09/2021 12:55

*legs OF an undernourished gazelle, not 'or'! I don't expect you to put your pet gazelle in chelsea boots!

The lot of the new Autumn stuff from Plumo has been styled with chunky Chelsea style boots. www.plumo.com/categories/Fashion/
