Are Louboutin's worth it? I work in a very corporate environment and have been offered them as a gift. Kate, calf skin, black 100mm.
I wear heels daily, I wouldn't wear them daily but more for special work events.

Louboutins are hideously uncomfortable. Also, are you used to wearing a 100mm/4 inch heel?

I do wear heels and personally, prefer a 95mm heel, although I can manage a 100mm if need be. Personally, I have never gone for Louboutins as they're cliched and hideously uncomfortable. Instead, I wear Manolo Blahnik and Aquazurra. Additionally, I always buy heels in a half size bigger. (It's worth nothing that Loubountin comes up a little on the small size too.)

If you are able, go to Selfridges or Harrods and go and try a myriad of designers and shoes styles on before making a decision. Only a fool would buy something like this blind.

Lastly, would I take a pair of Louboutin Kate pumps as a gift. Maybe, if only to sell them on. I think there are other nicer styles out there.

Yes wear 4'' daily and thought they were like slippers when I tried them on.

Get them! I have some and they're gorgeous.
