Knee high or over the knee socks with Converse

Could this be a way to wear summer midi dresses for a bit longer, now that there's a nip of autumn in the air?
Where to buy them?
And is this even a look ( especially aged 57).
Thought it might be comfortable but stylish.

I'm personally not a fan of the look, I think it'd look much nicer with some tights.

Primark should have big long socks. I think it would be less flattering with high top Converse, but worth trying. They're only socks. I would prefer tights as my socks always keep falling down.

If you are seventeen and lithe of limb it might work but otherwise I think it might be a bad idea
