Floral dress and white trainers?

I'm going out for the day (food and drinks) with some friends next Saturday

I always, always wear the standard uniform of 'jeans and a nice top'

I'm itching to go buy a dress and some white trainers BUT

I'm 43
Really short at 5'1
Size 16
Massive boobs
Lymphedema (foot and leg swelling) so would prefer a long dress

Would you? Do you? Can anyone recommend anything?

I've got a thread running on snag tights and have discovered chub rub shorts via that so I have some in my basket!

I think you need a dress that’s fitted on top - then a long flowy skirt should be OK. A top and skirt might be easier to find quickly? Maxi dresses can swamp you so you don’t want to buy in a hurry.

For the trainers I find Superga a better proportioned shoe than a Stan smith or a converse for balancing ankles.
Hush have a big sale in dresses at the moment. Lots of midi and maxi (midi may well be close to maxi for you)
Love snag tights, I use the chub rubs for modesty shorts under wrap skirts and they are very comfy and somehow not hot.
