I need to up my game. So, what do stylish and sophisticated looking ladies wear both while traveling, and while enjoying hot countries, walking around and relaxing? Pinterest boards welcome.

I’ve always noticed that a white slightly oversized shirt in a good fabric like linen or cotton voile is a great holiday yoke. Works in the airport, at the beach and out for drinks! Key is the fabric.

Light colours, nothing fitted, natural fabrics, jewellery and a nice bag. Sunglasses!

Sunglasses make everything better you're damn right on that point!

Issey Miyake Pleats Please dresses. I get mine from EBAY and sales as they are so expensive.

By the pool I always wear a black bikini or one piece, with a midi length black lace kimono and a trilby hat. Toenails nicely shellaced. Large raffia bag. Sunglasses. Havianas

Thank you. I don't really enjoy wearing trousers when on holiday in hot countries but can't really think of what looks good aside from dresses and linen type trousers. Any ideas on that front?

I think premium denim shorts can look really expensive if they fit well and aren't super short. I wear silk cami tops with mine.

Simple thin gold/silver chain necklaces and bracelets in Sount France recently. Lots of 'natural' hair, not overly processed but windswept and interesting! Minimal makeup (sweaty mess clambering around a castle otherwise!).

Natural fabrics, well-fitting clothes (nothing worse than hoiking up bra straps or constantly tucking or tugging on clothes).

Otherwise keep the style that you have. Don't try and go all French chic, Greek-a-go-go or Vespa-vroom Italian!

Tailored shorts (have to be short none of this mid thigh business) or palazzo pants with cami and kimono or big shirt.

Also a fab of straw trilby and beach bag with big shades.

Big cotton midi dressed also good.

For evening silk joggers and cami and heeled mules.
