Help with smartening up a work uniform

Hi,
I may be asking the impossible but I have to wear a branded polo shirt for work as part of my uniform.
I’d like to smarten it up in some way (I’m the manager outdoors sometimes but mainly office based).
Any ideas or is it an impossibility?
Thanks

I've worked a couple of places with polos as uniform. Can you get away with that being the only uniform item or do you also have to wear specific trousers/skirt, jacket etc. I'd try and make sure you can get a good fit, not too baggy (I know some places almost have a one-size fits all). Tuck it in. If you can wear your own clothes with it try and go for a preppy look, chinos, loafers, maybe a plain long sleeve top under it for when it gets cooler.

Brilliant thank you! Yes I can wear my own choice of trousers and have selected the right size (also been forced to wear the dreaded 1 size fits all before. It never does.).

What sort of jacket? A jersey blazer? What do you think...

Make sure it's ironed.

Is it boxy? Could you have it altered to be more fitted?

2 great ideas. Thank you. I will iron them and could potentially alter them, hadn’t considered that!
