Advice please - is this dress ok for a wedding?

It's been a long time since I needed to dress up especially for a wedding. I'm invited to the whole day - not sure if that makes it different what outfits are expected. I'm a bit worried that it is quite dark even with the flowers as I've read black is frowned upon for weddings.

I think it's fine, I've seen lots of people wear black to weddings. I wouldn't be keen on just black, but with the pattern it's nice.

I quite like it but personally I would pick something with a lighter colour scheme, some of the other dresses in the 'customers also viewed' section had brighter/lighter colour schemes.

Also if it is a church wedding you will need some kind of jacket or shrug for the shoulders.

Looks like it would suit an autumn wedding - when is it?

It's next week!! I bought the dress a while ago but now I'm having second thoughts if it's ok or not.
It's at a wedding venue rather than a church sort of like a converted barn so I was hoping the weather will still be warm enough. I'll have to go and look for a jacket. Maybe if I can find a lighter colour that will make the whole thing not seem so dark

I've got some beige heels which are very similar to one of the colours on the dress so I was thinking of wearing them. But I only have one going out type bag and it's black. You can tell I don't get out much 🙈

I think a nude wrap to match your shoes and will be fine
