Would anyone be kind enough to show me their short hairstyle?

I'm definitely going for the chop as I'm fed up with my mid length bob, it is difficult to style and neither here nor there. I want something quick and easy to style in the mornings but not too harsh. I've put on a bit of weight so unfortunately my face is a bit chubby at the mo but I'm going for it anyway! Would really love to see your hairstyles if you are happy to shareSmile

I have my hair buzzed to a #2 on the side and a longer strip on top and down the back. Sometimes I spike it as per the pic, sometimes I "Hoxton fin" it, sometimes I just ruffle it up a little with paste.

This is mine. I stick in front up with some clips if I want a wee quiffed bit, stick on some hair putty - done!

Be careful OP. I also had a mid length bob, nothing spectacular, and thought a short cut would be quick and easy to style in the mornings …

How wrong was I? It actually took more styling than my bob, and unless I got really ‘done up’ in terms of make up and outfit, I looked and felt quite drab. There’s a thread somewhere, about inadvertently looking like Nicola Sturgeron. I’m back with a shoulder length bob again now, and I appreciate it far more now. I need a reasonable amount of hair to look and feel like “me” but it took the short cut experience to make me realise this.

Thanks for the pics, I love both styles. And thanks @Coffeepot72 for the warning which I appreciate. The trouble is I just constantly tuck my hair behind my ears and then it does this weird flicky thing, so I figure it would make sense to go short. I'm going to have a good discussion with my hairdresser before I take the plunge.

Lovely pics; but I’d anonymise them a bit if I were you!

I have fine wavy hair with a tendancy to curl. I used to have shoulder length hair but it was just too fine and stringy.

I find mine easy to just wash and go. Salt spray gives it texture and reduces fluffiness. I can comb/blow dry it smooth or quiff it and let it form waves. It's far more versatile than my shoulder length hair that was always in a scraggly ponytail.

This, I had a short bob cut into a longish pixie cut and it took twice as long to style for me as my hair either fluffed up awkwardly or stuck flat, I am now back to my boring short bob.
