I've done 'bra intervention' and am pretty sure I know my right size. Years ago I bought 34" band size until someone measured me and told me I was a 28-29!
However, online, M&S still advise this weird 'add 4 inches' to your under bust (band) measurement.
Is this because they are following their own odd sizing and measuring? Buying online is almost impossible as I end up ordering so many sizes in 1 order.
The reason I ask is that so many of my M&S bras feel tight after a few hours. I measure a 29 band and buy a 30 inch or 32 in other brands depending on the style.
However, my M&S 32" bras measure 24 inches from end to end. That means they have to stretch 8 inches to fasten the two ends.
I've noticed other negative reviews online about the band sizing and wonder if it is really is an M&S thing? Does it mean sizing up always allowing for their odd sizing?
