Doesn't have to be blue; I also like green, but will consider most colours for the perfect (for me) cotton dress.

I know it's the wrong time of year to be buying summer dresses, but thought something might come up in the sales.

@Ikeameatballs I sent it back. I just wasn't sure if I'd wear it enough, and I think it would date quickly with all the embellishments. I'll put the £28 saved towards a dress that I love and know I'll wear.

@lindyloo57 it does look lovely. I think I might have to order it.

I like it as there isn't to much going on, I don't suit dresses with frills, and big shoulders.

@lindyloo57 do you actually have the Finery dress? I'm just wondering how thick the demin is and whether the fabric is quite stiff?

I know I need to see it for myself, but I'm wondering whether it can be worn as a summer dress, or if it'd be too warm on for that?

Sorry no I don't, that's the problem with denim dresses, you're never sure how stiff they are, I only own one, I brought on ebay new with tags from next, it's quite fitted knee length button front I wear it open as a coat/jacket.

Hush had several on sale last month. Not sure if they’re still available but worth a look.

Thanks @Ozanj. I bought, and rejected, a dress from Hush in the sale recently, but I'll take another look.

@lindyloo57 I contacted Finery to ask if the Amelia dress has pockets. It doesn't unfortunately so I probably won't order it.
