Does using a phone or tablet cause extra chins?

Will we all end up with six chins from looking downwards constantly?

No, mines due to wine and chocolate

Londoncatshed · 27/08/2021 20:31

Not sure but cake does 😊

hugoagogo · 27/08/2021 20:32

Possibly.

I'd like to blame my chin on my phone, but in reality it's wine and too much food and not enough activity.

Looking at dh right now, I'd say yes. But really it's the steroids and chemo drugs he's on that's made his face balloon

Hummingbird1950 · 28/08/2021 00:44

No, but they do cause lines in the neck from constantly looking down.

blueshoes · 28/08/2021 01:38

I think so. I am noticing more and more people with weak chins.

Interesting - even when I've been very overweight, I've never had a double chin. Fat hamster cheeks, yes, but my chin always sticks out. I'm middle-aged so grew up without 'devices' and I use a laptop now rather than a phone or tablet. On the other hand, I might just have a naturally strong jawline. It does me no favours either way Sad.
