Underwire Bra

Not sure this is the right topic to post in, but here goes... Does anyone know if there is a way to rescue an underwire bra when the wire pokes through the fabric? Seems a waste to throw the bra away when it's perfectly fine apart from the wire coming through. Thank you x

I slide it back in and sew the hole to see if I can get a bit longer out of it

I push the wires back through and sew them up. Sometimes if it's a bad one I'll add a tiny square of thick canvas material to make it a bit stronger. If the bones are sharp/have lost the protective coating on the tips, you can buy repair kits for them online.
