Help going out in one hour ...

What would you wear to a reasonably nice Gastropub? What kind of vibe would you go for -dressy/ smart casual/ casual/hip/ cool?

None of these seem quite right!

It's quite cool here. Have various kinnds if jeans/wide leg trouser/ skirts /shirts/ t shirts/ dresses of various types help!

Size 16 (and a holiday podge) 5'6

We were out the other week in a similar place, the place was quite cold because of air conditioning. Just something to bear in mind

Good jeans, a nice top, and depending on what time I was going Ie either lunch or evening either white trainers or a pair of low heeled suede boots.

This always helps whittle it down for me. Too many nights spent in a bandage dress in the pub in the 2010s whilst everyone else was in skinnies and brogues…

Don’t search for its Instagram, search for the name of the place on the location function.

People will tag themselves in pictures there, and upload from their own account.

I wore dark smart jeans, nice top and nice shoes. I’ve planned to wear trousers but couldn’t fit into them - post lockdown kilos, so no hasn’t got much choice. Not many people wore jeans ( I mean females) but they looked ok with top and shoes.

A nice maxi dress, with leather jacket and ankle boots?

Maxi/midi dress, leather/denim jacket and some chunky sandals/smart trainers/ankle boots. Never fails.

I wore skinny jeans, smartish top and wedge heels

Update! The food was incredible!

Best advice was not to go over dressed so opted for relaxed smart casual ( I just made that up)

I wore 'nice' inky skinny jeans, oversize stripe shirt, a khaki coat /Jacket /shacket / thing and tan palmieras.

I felt good and comfortable and that I got the vibe right for a weekday date night! It was 50/50 'jeans and an nice' top and dresses. I would wear a dress at the weekend or for a birthday etc

It feels very much like Autumn though so unsure how to nail midi dresses right now until I can crack out the boots and tights!
