Oh my Boody knickers, how comfy you are

Bought some Boody knickers as away doing lots of walking and wanted knickers that didn't ride up my bum etc...

Oh my comfy bum. I may never wear my frilly little things again ever again.

I'm telling you because I'm in a caravan full of men/boys who don't want to listento tales of my favourite knickers.
@holidaynearlyover - I’d get lost in those! Are you supposed to get in them with a friend 😂 ?
@StarlightLady 🤣🤣

I always find big knickers never look as big on as they do when you hold them up!

I've recently lost weight and am now a size 8/10 but still love big comfy knickers! I have totally given up on brief pants that go up your bum and make you feel uncomfortable all day 🤣

I have the wirapa ones on my wish list, do they control the mum tum/jelly belly? Have lost about 3 stone but the jelly belly is going nowhere

MrsBa · 27/08/2021 10:37

I have some nice big comfy knickers from Matalan, trouble is they show above the waistband of my jeans!

Carboncheque · 27/08/2021 10:39

’’I call them my harvesters - all is safely gathered in.’

Grin I love that

Carboncheque · 27/08/2021 10:47

I have three sections in my pants drawer. One for big comfy pants, one for pretty pants (lots of Brazilian cut but no bum floss) and one for scaffolding - the heavy duty, suck everything in stuff for wearing with certain dresses.

For me Brazilian, pretty and comfy all go hand in hand together quite nicely. And colourful is a must. No white or beige in the drawer.

I wonder what some people do to make their knix so uncomfy 🤔.

FreezerBird · 27/08/2021 14:20

Those of you after a substantial, colourful knicker need to investigate Thunderpants.

Carboncheque · 27/08/2021 14:43

Comfy for me is big, plain, unadorned cotton that won’t rub or disappear anywhere on a 3 hour hike, running or going to the gym.

AnnieSnap · 27/08/2021 19:48

@FreezerBird Thunderpants just sounds wrong, in a noisy kind of way🥴

LividLaVidaLoca · 27/08/2021 20:50

My baby is 18mo and I’m still wearing over-the-bump maternity knickers Blush

In my head it's with a Yorkshire accent: "th'underpants".

GoWalkabout · 27/08/2021 21:06

Both viscose and bamboo are itchy to me. Maybe its just my skin.

Do you have a very small bottom? Genuine question because my bottom would eat Brazilian cut pants for breakfast
AnotherVice · 27/08/2021 21:15

I have gradually been replacing all my knickers to these! They sell them in the health food shop in my local town so I'll buy a pair whenever I need to pop in there for anything else. Sooooo comfy!

Carboncheque · 27/08/2021 22:40

Brazilian cut pants are definitely not made for lunges

ImitationofBeing · 27/08/2021 23:20

Well I'm lunging away here merrily.

I got my Boodys yesterday and have put them on today - most comfortable pants Ive ever worn. Not in the least bit sexy but so soft and comfortable, feels like Im going commando!

The bra is good too, I feel so much lighter - totally recommend!

Alwaysonthehunt · 29/08/2021 17:25

Do the boyleg pants ride up? I have a very round bottom and I'm not sure they'll cover it properly 😂 also do you size up?

Are you caressing your bottom??

Okay, I love my Wirapa, but you’ve tempted me to try these. I have ordered one pair for comparison.

gofg · 29/08/2021 21:31

I've been wearing them for several years - and none show any sign of wearing out, which is a big plus! Yes, they are extremely comfortable.

RoyalMush · 30/08/2021 00:57

I tried to buy M&S no VPL in Brazilians or shorts in store this week, and for both the material is a lot thinner and somehow crispier and cracklier. A lot less soft. More plasticky feeling. I don’t like cottony pants but I used to love the M&S no VPL fabric as it was light to wear, thin and smooth enough for clothes not to cling to it not show any pant lines, but still gave good coverage.
Now bereft of where to get any pants because our big M&S had supply chain issues so my size is out. I can’t quite bring myself to order my usual from M&S website now that they’ve started cobbling their pants together out of surplus boil-in-the-bag wrappers.
