No purple no yellow hair

There was a thread the other day discussing ash hair between salon visits. I can't find it. Fanola was one of the products suggested but there were others that were not as drying? Was it a tresemme mask?

Can anyone recommend something that keeps hair ash or silver but doesn't turn your hair purple?

I didnt see the thread so not sure on the mask recommended but I know there's a L'Oréal purple mask that my friends have said is good.
I use fanola and its the best imo- I've tried loads.
Tbh with the hair turning purple thing it's not actually the product on your hair instantly doing it its the length of time left on or if you have dry or porous hair it can cling on and stain.

I use wells system silver shampoo. It's expensive but 100% worth it not a hint of purple in site!
My hairdresser recommended it and it hasn't disappointed. I got it off Amazon

I just used the tresemma mask this morning, who ever recommended it, thank you, its come out great, I did leave it on for the full 15 minutes, its the best one I have tried, plus it on discount at super grug.
