Rains Raincoats Sizing

Really want to order a jacket from Rains, can’t find any decent reviews on the sizing. I’ve heard they are oversized too, is this true? I would normally order a coat in a size 12, should I get a S/M or a M/L?

I tried some on last weekend and they are very generously sized. Really good price, but the fit just wasn’t for me. Def size down.

I’d agree they’re oversized. I’m an 8 and the XS/S is roomy - it’s fine as gives me plenty of space for jumpers underneath and I wouldn’t want a raincoat to be too close fitting. But yes if you’re in between sizes/in doubt you may want to size down.

Ooh! This is good to know! I love the pink swing coat but I got the impression they were a bit skimpy. Annoyingly the osteopath is getting all my money this month. Dammit. Although it is my birthday soon...
