You know the chunky ones? I have a lovely Clinique one but I'm on a tight budget at the moment and they're quite expensive so I'm looking for cheaper high street alternatives I suppose. I want quite a neutral shade too. Any recommendations?

Budget is under a tenner.

No7 do one, I got it in the Christmas skincare box year before last.
Avon do them, proper wooden pencil so less plastic waste. Though I don't know if they are nude tones- I get a brighter one.

The Kiko ones get good reviews on YouTube

NYX i was a bit of a snob towards brands when looking at make up but when we were away I realised I had left my daytime eyeshadow stick at home and used one of dd’s NYX ones and it’s great.
It’s the chubby ones in a white pencil. I brought a khaki/greens/brown one for £7 in boots. They have quite a few neutral colours to choose from.

I had a few Rosie for Autograph ones, I got them on ebay. I really rate them.

I've got some Kiko ones and I'm happy with them. They are a good price.

I love kiko too. They are affordable and they blend together brilliantly. I don’t find they flake either and they hold powder eyeshadow really well if you want to use that on top as well. I think I probably own most of them - it’s easy to throw on for an everyday look in twenty seconds but they also do some really dramatic shades.
If I was being super critical, they aren’t ‘chunky’ like the chubby sticks, and they are a little too soft to use under the eye

Pixi. Currently £8 at Boots.

ScarlettDarling · 24/08/2021 22:11

These from Boots no 7 are great. My favourite is ‘cool mink’ which is much lighter on the skin than in the picture.

I love my ELF no budge stick - it's in rose gold.

I’d show up at the wedding, you were invited!

He’s a pig, btw.

The Kiko eyeshadow pencils I bought were really shimmery I hated them.

imstilljenny2 · 25/08/2021 08:35

I use the No 7 Cool Mink one linked above and love it. It really doesn't budge all day. I found the Kiko ones really shimmery too.
