Nail and toe colours

I'm having my finger nails done this afternoon - I'm thinking of something like a cobalt blue. I could probably get my toes done at the same time. If I do, do they need to match my fingers? If not, what colour would you suggest?

I rarely match my toes and fingernails. I normally have my toes a coral colour in the summer and berry in winter no matter what's on my fingers. 😊

I rarely match my fingers and toes, but my 20 year old daughter does.

Not matching them was a big thing a few years back but now people are just doing whichever way the mood takes them. Recently I've been matching them.

I tend to match toes and hands. Except both ring fingers are often a different contrasting colour.

But there are no “rules”.

I used to match but I never do now. My toes are aqua & my fingers pink. Although I think I’m going to go for pastel blue on my fingers when I get them redone.
