I like it. Quite a lot actually

It's ok, but nothing special. I would avoid it because it has knitted cuffs which always get soggy and unpleasant in the rain.
Also round here black quilted jackets have become the uniform of teenage boys who hang about on corners smelling suspiciously herbal.

Thank you - I like its simplicity and plainess - and the fact it has zip pockets, which are v useful.

I like it but it doesn't look like it's got a hood. I can't understand waterproof jackets with no hood.

It’s ok.
I wouldn’t buy it because I like a hood, and the bottom is ‘baggy’ so it won’t keep the heat in. But I don’t dislike it.

It's cool but I think that look really only works if you look like the model.

I like it. I think pretty much everyone would like it though as its so plain and classic. Theres nothing to dislike about it but nothing to REALLY like about it iyswim. It does need a hood though. Normally that type of jacket has a concealed one in the collar.

I like it but I read water repellent as a way of saying its not waterproof. I could be wrong though

I would see it as a fashion item that may be a bit more waterproof than similar items rather than as something you choose to wear on a rainy day.

I really like it. Simple style and not too bulky looking for a quilted jacket.

Somewhat off topic, but the model is wearing ski pants. Please tell me those awful things are not back in style! All they do is drag at your waist and pull your knickers down. And they go baggy at the knees. I know, of course, that I'm not obliged to wear them

I think it's fine but am not a huge fan. I think on most people it will look a bit of a boxy cut and a has the vibe of cheap back to school jacket.

As a raincoat it looks a bit pointless if that's what it's needed for, but otherwise its non offensive.

I think it's a bit boring in black but love the green colour, but agree it probably wouldn't keep you very dry in the rain. I don't find Mango sizing tiny - I'm a 10-12 and usually wear a small or medium there. The size help thing on their website is usually fairly accurate for me.

I am not keeping it, but for those who liked it, it's only £20 in John Lewis. Size-wise, I am a podgy size 10, sometimes 12, and the XS was spot on.

Nothing much to like or dislike about it. It's just a black jacket. Kind of boring/ a bit chavvy.

It's OK.

I like the uniqlo down jackets and parkas, real down, very warm, lightweight, cost from £40.
They also explain that 'water resistant' means they cope with light showers, so you layer under a waterproof coat if necessary.

I am short, so the overall effect on me is a bit too boxy for my liking. It's a nice jacket though, genuinely, although it's true that the lack of hood is a bit weird.

It looks boxy really.
I got a very similar in navy and while it looks good on hanger - I feel like a box in it.
Mine also has hood.
