Hi everyone

I need your advice about what to do to lose weight from legs bums and tums. I am 43 years old. I am controlling my carbohydrates and calorie intake with about 6000 steps 5 days but have no difference on these areas. On the other hand everyone is telling that my face looks gaunt and it seems like I am poorly. I have lost about 3 kgs so far with no effect on my legs but and tum.

I am not sure what to do that my face does not look like gaunt and I can lose weight from these areas. I am losing my confidence ot seems like my face is a face of poorly person, my upper body is like size 12 whereas lower is 16_18.

Please advise what I can do to come in good shape with healthy face.

Many thanks.

I wouldn't focus on losing weight, I'd try to work on building muscle in those areas using weights and resistance bands.

There's that old adage, after a certain age you have to choose your face or your bum, you can't have both! We lose all the lovely plumping fat in our faces as we age.

If you really want to keep losing weight you might need to beef up the makeup/fake tan/whatever makes your face look more alive while people adjust to your new look. And tell anyone who calls you gaunt to STFU and be supportive!

41EccentricaGalumbits. Your comment made me laugh.

I wish I can say them STFU and be supportive.

I can use the make up to give a healthier look.

Strength training! The Sweat app is excellent, lots of different programmes you can do at home if you don't like the gym. Joe Wicks is good too. But a mix of walking or swimming, and regular weights (use dumbbells, kettle bells, resistance bands) will help you burn fat and build muscle. Make sure you get plenty of protein in your diet as you'll struggle to gain any muscle otherwise, which is what adds definition/tone to your legs/bum.

I also find cycling excellent for slimming down legs.

Your body shape is your body shape. You're always going to be smaller on top than the bottom. I speak from the same position. Walking/running, yoga and regular squats and plank all help keep keep me more toned.
