Hello

I am looking for a work bag that would fit a lap top, mouse, etc plus notebooks. Prefer non leather, with a few compartments and a specific lap top space. Have been looking for ages but can't fine anything I like.

Any help appreciated Smile

You could get a Longchamp with a bag organiser although it wouldn’t provide you with a specific laptop space.

I did think about that! As I do have a longchamp, it's the laptop that worries me as it's a work one and the longchamps are not that protective. Thx.

Day Et have a good selection of bags too. Some are padded and/ or designed for laptops. I use a cheapie laptop case for an extra layer of protection.

I'm always surprised by people who produce a laptop out of a giant tote bag where it's clanking around loose with everything else, especially if the bag is an open top one. I'd prefer a bag or backpack with a padded protective slot for the computer. Did you look at usual suspects like Knomo?

Some of these are really nice, thanks

Me too. I have to have compartments. The knomo ones are just what I'm looking for but just too expensive for me. Thanks though

I’ve just got a Kroser one from Amazon that’s really good. Quite a few compartments

Personally I would make a protective padded sleeve for the laptop and use a Longchamp Le Pliage with bag organiser .

Keep an eye out in TKmaxx, my last two came from there. The current one a really nice Paul Costello bag.

I have a North Face backpack which is intended for work - it has a power bank built into it, a couple of compartments for cables etc, a dedicated pocket at the back for a laptop and a tablet in 2 separate protected sleeves, and a middle portion that normally carries my papers.

My goal to replace that at some stage is an eBags professional bag - either the slim or weekender (I travel a lot for work, with a LOT of paper, so the weekender would be useful). This is the slim

There's also Mia Tui miatui.com/products/sarah-laptop-bag
Over the years I've found that as laptops are quite heavy and you are using it every day, bags do tend to wear out and look scruffy, so it's probably worth investing.
