I work in an industry where I'm expected to look very corporate for a few consecutive days every few months (so need a few outfits). I need to aim more towards classic than fashionable. If no one noticed what I'm wearing, I'm getting it about right!

I need to get some new clothes, because I put on two dress sizes during lockdown and have only last one and a half so far. I don't want to spend much because I'm working on losing the rest of the weight gain.

I normally avoid dresses because the body length tends to be too long. I'm just above the normal cut off for petite sizes, so petite dresses tend to be on the short side.

Normally, M&S would be ideal and sometimes H&M. I'd get basic blazers and trousers and wear with thin jumpers (blazers are fairly essential for arriving and leaving and some meetings, but generally not worn in the middle). I've looked at M&S and every available blazer either has ruched sleeves or seems very boxy (I'm an hourglass so anything boxy makes me look huge).

Does anyone have any suggestions of where else I could look, please?
