Right Grin
Get a tape measure and measure your underbust tightly, what does it say? In inches
And what dress size are you?
A band size 36 is usually around a dress size 18

I'd go somewhere and get properly fitted. You're not under any obligation to buy after. Bravissimo, Boux avenue and M&S all do really good bra fitting services.

Do not go to M&S - they will have you in a 40b.
Get online and start with the BOB method.

NotMyCat · 23/08/2021 13:17

Ok so that sounds slightly off
That size would suggest a 36D but if you have double boob then you need bigger cups
How does a 36 band feel, and can you pull it out at all?

M&S have lovely bras but DO NOT get measured there.

BusterGonad · 24/08/2021 14:32

I'd argue that a 36 band is more a size 16, I'm a 14 to 16 and wear a 36 band. I do have 34s but I just feel so restricted in them at the moment, it doesn't help that I have a thick scar on my back that can get irritated by my bra band. I actually bought a lovely bra from M&S yesterday, i took a few sizes in and went with the best one. Remember that the panal between your breast needs to be touching your skin, if it isn't then the cups are too small, make sure all the breast tissue under your arms and around your sides is in the bra cup. I have alot if side breast tissue so I went up a cup and it fits perfectly. Do not relay on the straps for lift, the band does all the work. And not all bras in the same size will fit the same, you may need a different size in a different design. I found the moulded cup bras didn't really fit me at all. I kept getting a slight bit of over boob in all sizes so I didn't bother with that one and got a full cup in a lace design.

Just to add in a wireless the panal i between will not touch your breast plate only wired.
