Gloves for washing hair

Wasn't quite sure where was best to put this. For some reason recently my hands seem to be quite greasy a lot of the time, even with regular washing with hand soap. I have no idea why or what could be causing it.
However it does make washing my hair difficult, it never seems to feel clean to me. Someone suggested wearing gloves when washing my hair. So I wondered if anyone does this? Or maybe a hairdresser might be able to advise if this is a good idea? And if so what type of gloves would be best to wear when washing hair?

I am not a hairdresser but one of the trainees at the salon I go to wears gloves when she washes hair. They look like the surgical type gloves, probably the same ones they use for colouring your hair. It does feel slightly strange and a bit squeaky (and the head massage is hideous) but seems to be fine.
