H&M Conscious

I just ordered from H&M for the first time. It’s good to see they are making efforts to be more sustainable (or us it green washing?). Fingers crossed the stuff is reasonable quality when it arrives. I am losing weight and it’s good to be able to get a swimsuit for the pool at the gym that doesn’t cost the earth, both figuratively and literally. Here is a photo of my little order.

Thoughts/experiences on H&M welcome.

I find quality at H and M varies massively and sizes are inconsistent. Some of my favourite clothes are from H and M though. Often need to size up there so don’t be disheartened if stuff doesn’t fit - it will be their sizing, not you!

I have some really nice Tencel shorts from the range which are lovely quality, but the babygrows I bought a few years ago when it first came out were a lot thinner than the standard ones.

I sized-up in the swimsuit. The other two items are L which is 16/18 and I usually a 16, so phew!

I love H&M
I find most things are a good size.
I have to buy xs/s in tops because I'm very small up top however, I have a large bum and thighs and need a large on the bottom.
I always buy the conscious range - wash really well and keep their shape.
I've been living in their t shirt dresses this summer and, the wide leg trousers with tank tops.

Kids stuff is also lovely - good quality and nice prints.
I just really like H&M, the mix with classic styles and on trend items is great.

I got some relaxed fit v neck Conscious T-shirt’s at the start of the first lock down - about £4 each though they come in a pack of two now - and they are fabulous. Really soft and they wash really well. I’ve worn them nearly every day for over a year and they’re still going strong. The white ones are starting to show their age now after a year and a half of constant use, but the black ones still look great.

I love H&M. The conscious range has been around for years, I've got things from it that are at least a decade old which speaks volumes

I have a love hate relationship with h&m - I love a lot of their prints and have some favourite things from there which have lasted years and years. However a lot of their clothes don't fit my body shape and their sizing is very inconsistent.
