Jo malone perfume does it last?

I was in London yesterday and found myself in Jo Malone. Everything smelt so good! So I ended up buying a new perfume. Now I have buyers remorse. I was wondering if you wear it everyday how long does a 100ml bottle last you? Also are the accompanying Bath oils etc worth it?

Nope!
I call No Malone due to lack of strength
They are colognes I believe

SnarkyBag · 22/08/2021 10:09

They used to last along time and a bottle would last me two years. I stopped buying it a long time ago when they discontinued my favourite one and all the others had no staying power.

ABitOfAShitShow · 22/08/2021 10:12

Nope. Lovely but no staying power. It doesn’t linger on bed linen or tops or anything either.

allycat4 · 22/08/2021 10:12

No. Sorry!

Arcadia · 22/08/2021 10:17

Depends on which one. The peony & blush suede is strong, and I still have half a bottle of the 100ml I bought a few years ago. I wore lupin and patchouli out last night and can smell it in myself this morning (just four sprays and didn't 'refresh'). That one was limited edition so you can't get it now, but one of my faves.
People are negative about JM generally on here, but didn't used to be. I still love them!

Habbyhadno · 22/08/2021 10:20

Nope. Not worth the cash.

Lochnessgiraffe · 22/08/2021 10:27

Arcadia I got the peony and blush suede.

Not worth the money, has no staying power whatsoever. The candles are worth it however.

BeaLola · 22/08/2021 10:40

I love Jo Malone but like the perfume the least as it doesn't last all day

I tend to go for shower or bath oil and then body lotion

Noshowwithoutpunch · 22/08/2021 10:43

Doesn't last. Overpriced.

allyouneedisconnection · 22/08/2021 10:45

Unfortunately it doesn't last. Some of the scents are lovely, it's such a shame.

MyCatDribbles · 22/08/2021 10:45

I’ve got Jo Loves perfume and love it and seems to stay

WirKindervomBahnhofZoo · 22/08/2021 10:55

The peony one lasts about 5 mins on me so basically before I've even left the house!

Enko · 22/08/2021 11:12

Doesn't last a long time now. I wear their cucumber and earlgrey and it lasts about half the day. When I wear coco mademoiselle or samsara or goldia rosea (my other 3 perfumes) they last much longer

Coffeepot72 · 22/08/2021 12:53

I find it lasts very well

ExtremelyDisorganised · 22/08/2021 12:55

The Lime, Basil and Mandarin lasts all day on me, even though I only use one squirt.

Rugbycomet · 22/08/2021 12:57

I don’t get the perfume anymore due to the fact it doesn’t last. However, I find the creams have longer staying power, especially the thicker ones in the pot.

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 22/08/2021 12:57

I have lime basil & mandarin, grapefruit, pomegranate noir and orange bitters. I find they all last, and the 100ml bottles last me ages. I don't understand all of the negativity about the brand.

SuzyDaarling · 22/08/2021 14:32

For me it depends on which one. Peony and Suede blush lasts a good 5 hours and I can smell it on clothes for days. Also Poppy and Barley is fairly long lasting on me as is velvet rose anhand oud. Wild bluebell i get about 3 to 4 hours. I have started buying some off eBay. I got a 50ml velvet rose and oud that had only been sprayed a few times for £35 and a Poppy and barley for £24 which was boxed and unused. Worth checking.

Housewife2010 · 22/08/2021 14:35

I find that Red Roses lasts a long time and also the Cologne Intense ones have greater longevity.

Arcadia · 22/08/2021 14:46

@Lochnessgiraffe

Arcadia I got the peony and blush suede.
Great choice, you'll love it. I think it lasts well, in my view the really long lasting smelling perfumes that people seem to be comparing to are 'cloying', I'd hate my perfume to knock everyone out around me!
BillinaTheChickenQueen · 22/08/2021 14:49

I have the peony and pomegranate and they both last all day.
I have had them for ages and hardly used any.

Artdecolover · 22/08/2021 15:02

The "negativity" about the brand from my view is not the piss poor performance of the scent, but rather the rampant racism of their advertising.
HTH!

Seriously? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a JM ad.

You can improve the longevity by spraying it over moisturiser @Lochnessgiraffe.

ChrissyPlummer · 22/08/2021 15:52

It used to, but no longer. The best one I find is Blackberry & Bay. It does seem a triumph of marketing over quality these days.
