Is brown fashionable now?

DD has asked for one. I was surprised at the colour choice.
Unfortunately the one from h&m which is actually quite nice, is out of stock in her size, usually S although this one's oversized, so I would have got XS.
I have checked asos, next, uniqlo... can't find one anywhere. Any thoughts anyone?
