Eyelid primer

Can anyone please recommend an eyelid primer to help with oily eyelids? Whenever I use eye shadow or eyeliner it ends up smudged everywhere.

Urban decay original. Dont bother with hourglass

Agree with the urban decay original, I’m using it years and no other ones worked.

Nars - the colourless one. It's the business.

Urban Decay! If they stop making it I'll have to stop wearing eyeshadow . Set your makeup with the Nyx Matte Setting Spray and nothing will move.

The Nars one is the best (UD just melted on me!) but I picked up the Revolution one in Boots while Space NK was closed in lockdown and I would say it is a close second, it just needs a wee bit longer to dry in.

Yes another vote for Urban Decay. Tried a few others and always end up going back to UD, it's the best.

I use Perricone MD liquid Eyeshadow as a primer, under powder. Though it is a little dark.

I like the Urban Decay one (but not that stupid applicator!) but I've been using Barry M's Lid Lock and I love it. Cheaper, too.

P Louise - you have to dab quite a bit on, let it dry slightly then apply eyeshadow- works brilliantly and quite cheap about £10

The Urban decay one is the best I think, but NYX ‘proof it’ is also excellent and much cheaper.

I got the Urban Decay one. It seems to work really well, but looks awful if I accidentally use too much!
Now if only I could stop the eyeliner on my lower lids from running.....

If you're white then Revlon eye primer. Weirdly it's only in one colour. Very good.

I used to buy UD but now only buy the NYX one as it is much cheaper and does the same job.
For lower lid eyeliner, I set just underneath it with a brown eyeshadow.
