Hopeless case...miracle tips?!?!

Off for a “girlie” hotel break in a few days...and it’s far from a “girlie” I am! Meeting friends not seen for a while and they’ll be seeing a lot more of me than previously (COVID-weight and the rest). Any tips to look in any way better or am I asking for a miracle? “Slim (the irony) pickings” in the wardrobe due to weight gain, and just dreading the pool...Oh really tempted to just drop out :(

Just go, relax and enjoy! They're your friends, I'm sure they will be happy to see you and won't care you've gained a few pounds or they shouldn't anyway!! Have fun!!

Haven't most people put weight on in the last year? I advise you to think like a man. They think they look great even with a huge beer belly.

Aww, honestly. Would you judge your friends or think anything of their bodies when you see them? No - and they won’t of you!

If I was going for a hotel break I might get a manicure and pedicure and polish, as that always makes me feel better. I tend to get my brows threaded and tinted and my eyelashes tinted which make me feel good even without make up at the pool etc, so you could look at that. And over the next few days treat yourself and look after yourself a little - moisturise legs/fake tan/hair masks/hair removal if you like doing that.

Take your favourite swimwear/treat yourself to a new one if you don’t have any that fit. Wear the outfits you have that you feel best in.
