Can anyone recommend a really good body moisturiser for very dry skin that also smells nice? Thanks in advance

L’Occitane Shea body lotion is lovely, very moisturising.
Or Avene, especially the one with the navy blue top.

Korres have some lovely smelling body butters.

Kjr33 · 20/08/2021 16:52

Avene the oat one

So many lovely body lotions to choose from - I like Korres too especially the fig one.

Also Rituals body lotions are gorgeous. The ritual of Sakura (cherry blossom) and the Ritual of Jing (lotus) are my favourites!

It’s an oil rather than a lotion but Nuxe huile prodigeuse is lovely and smells amazing

Vaseline intensive care

Sainsbury's own £1.50 for everyday.

Avene navy blue for when skin is particularly dry

Nivea Soft for when skin needs some TLC

Or body shop satsuma if it's a special occasion.

ActonSquirrel · 22/08/2021 19:05

I'd say avoid thick pore clogging body butters. They aren't that moisturising.

I like hyaluronic acid moisturiser. Light and gel like and very moisturising.

Neutrogena hydroboost is good.

SandraOhh · 22/08/2021 19:18

Palmer's cocoa butter

Sanctuary shower cream for just out of the shower. Lasts for ages and smells divine.

LeanneBrownsLonelyBraincell · 22/08/2021 19:44

How much do you want to spend? Kiehl's Creme De Corps is incredible.

ItsSunnyOutside · 22/08/2021 19:49

'Dream Cream' by Lush. Its amazing, excellent for dry skin. I used it for my DDs mild eczema and it cleared it up after a week. Also the Lush 'Sympathy For The Skin' one is really good and smells incredible {banana and cocoa butter}

The Vaseline cocoa butter one is also very good.

Seconded, especially the "whipped" version.

I tried a travel size and loved it.

Will be buying when I've used up other stuff

Any sort of budget OP? I have dry skin and have to moisturise every time I bath or shower. My go to for daily use is the garnier 24 hour range, I use the shea one. Its non greasy, absorbs quickly but really works at keeping dry skin and tightness at bay for me, which is brilliant because it's cheap as chips.

They also do it in mango, coconut or Loe vera scents if the sweet shea sort of scent isn't your bag.

More premium wise I do like kiels creme de corps but I don't necessarily think it's better. I find the body shop butters greasy and not very absorbent.
