Botox headache

I had Botox for the first time today (glabella) after debating for so long. I know that headaches are quite common after treatment but I have a mild headache with quite severe brain fog. I went in my lunch break but haven’t been able to work this afternoon. Is this normal? How long might this last?

I had this for maybe 24 hours and then all fine. My head felt very heavy in that time.

Welcome to Botox!!! You won’t look back

Yes, it feels heavy, rather than painful. I do feel pretty dizzy too. Can’t wait to see the results!

I had a headache for a week first time round!

I was fine the first time I got it but have had headaches for a couple of days every time since.

I felt pretty ropey a few hours after I got it too. I spent all afternoon wanting to lie down and sleep but trying not to because apparently you should keep your head up for some time after the treatment.

Yes I get this-comes and goes for first few weeks then disappears.

Thanks all, I still feel a bit dizzy today, but I am relieved to hear this is normal and short lived. How long until I see results? I swear I can see a slight widening/flattening between my eyebrows already.

Hi… I felt exactly the same after my 1st treatment, headachy ,tight and as tho my forehead was full of tension. As tho I had a headache that wanted to come but never did lol. This lasted a couple of weeks for me then eventually it subsided. 2nd time round 4 months later and much better afterwards , presumably because I was already used too it. I saw difference immediately for myself as I’m in my late 30’s , 2nd time was a milder difference as lines weren’t as noticeable as before Botox. Love my results , sure you will too 😁
