What would you wear to Blackpool for a few days?

Do Skechers sound okay, with jeans and pull over half zip fleece ?
I don’t want to look scruffy but not over done either.

We’re in our fifties so won’t be cruising the clubs or anything, just spending time with friends we haven’t seen in a while.
So something more, er, sedate, like normal bars 😬😬…
We might be doing a bit of walking so the feet need to be happy….

So yep, waterproof coat
Zip up fleece.
Jeans
Skechers. Or not.
What about my feet? Can’t do heels..

Layers, it'll be freezing there and yes Sketchers sound a good shout. Lots of walking

That will be perfectly fine in Blackpool. Nobody will bat an eyelid at the outfit.
I live not too far away and went there last week and most women were in jeans and trainers or leggings with boots.
Anything goes in Blackpool, you don't need to dress up. Just make sure you are dressed for the weather.

I've seen everything from full on pyjamas and slippers while in the town, all the way up to hot pants and boob tubes at 10am so your outfit sound perfect.

As others have said anything goes in Blackpool. But bring clothes for every weather situation.

The weather isn’t that bad, honestly.

I went to the seaside yesterday Sheringham, it was cool but dry, I wore slim jeans, trainers, black vest with a sheer short sleeved top over and black hoodie, I was with my late teens grandchildren, and they mostly wore similar

A raincoat 😂 last time I went it poured down for the whole time we were there.

Why should clothing in Blackpool be any different to where you live OP?

Bring layers!
A couple of long sleeved and short sleeved tshirts. A ‘naice’ blouse. Perhaps some tshirt dresses and a few cardigans that can go on top of that if it’s too cold. Some jeans and a pair of shorts. Trainers and a pair of sandals and you’re pretty much prepared for any kind of weather / situation!

I'm in a similar seaside resort - jeans, cut offs, decent walking shoes and warm layers. You are seriously over thinking it .

I love local. Dress for comfort but also the stereotypical 4 seasons in one day due to the Fylde coast having a crazy microclimate.
Yesterday started with drizzle grey clouds and about 12 degrees, mid afternoon the clouds broke and it was about 19 degrees and I was sweaty mess in my jumper and jeans. Then in the evening, cloud cover dropped the temperature again and the house felt a bit chilly.
Layers, waterproof jacket, comfy shoes.
