Help help help!!

I have just heard that I have an interview on Monday. I haven’t had an interview for YEARS!!! I need to find something suitable that I can order to arrive before Monday

I had my second child 1.5years ago so been living in leggings and just generally been a slob!

Can you help?! I am a size 8 & 37years old. Job is professional.

What sort of business? Very smart or more informal?

What shoes have you got? Are you a heel wearer? That might determine the outfit choice.

Good selection of shoes - black heels somewhere in the back of the wardrobe.

Profession - like a doctor!

Are you Uk based? Black trousers,blazer and smart top or blouse. ASOS normally deliver within 24 hours in my experience but not sure in UK. Marks and Spencers Suits are always a good bet but again not sure about delivery or stock in your local store.

The absolute best of luck with the Interview regardless. I did my first interview in 15 + years ago a couple of weeks ago so I understand how scary it is.

What seniority level? Is the company a business-attire type place?

Yea, I just went on ASOS and I have no clue.

Budget is probably under £100 ideally.

Could you go to the shops tomorrow? Next day delivery is never infallible, so actually finding something in a shop would probably be safer

Sadly I can’t go to the shops so I’m going to need to order a couple of things in the hope one will work!!

What about Next? They do lots of business wear and definitely do next day delivery.

Try and find a picture online of Andrea Martel (character) from Call My Agent (French series on Netflix). Like that. She’s slim and looks great in skinny blazers with slim trousers and heels.

I have had to do this recently and the help I got here was amazing. Do you have a Sainsbury’s near their work wear is decent. Also start on grooming basics. Neat clean nails, tidy eyebrows a hair cut or conditioner and style then check a simple make up if that is you. Clean the shoes and bag, then find qualifications if you need them. I had to show photo ID.

Okay going to get in the car to Next and Sainsbury’s..

Or a plain coloured shift dress and a neat blazer - shorter and fitted I would say if wearing a dress

Black skinny trousers, heels, nice shirt/top, blazer. All will be available from asos but I would also imagine Next and Sainsburys!

I think the suggestions made my @bookish83 sound fab. They are easy to find and can be used again.
When I went to the interview in July candidates wore a suit with no tie for men or chino with shirt. Women plain tops and blouses with dark skirts or trousers. There were some shift dresses and some jackets. It was professional interviews.
