Here’s a challenge, night out out outfit

For the first time in a couple of years, yesterday I wore heels. It was like wearing stilts and wrapping razor wire around my feet.

I have a graduation ball (not actually my graduation) in a couple of weeks and am thinking I need to go with trainers / converse / DMs instead of heels.

Can anyone suggest any outfits which would look good? I’m not a traditional person in terms of clothes and wear what I like rather than what is trendy, but am definitely not one for boring / old fashioned. I also intend to spend a lot of time dancing.

I’m 5ft 5, size 10

I have just remembered that I have a pair of leopard print ankle boots with a heel which are comfy so they might work, but what to wear with them?

They’re not these but they’re similar to these

I’m in, love something about outside the norm and the idea of making the shoe the starting point of the outfit. I am sort of disappointed to hear about the leopard print ankle boots as they sound a bit conformist.

Do you have the DMs or converse already? Is some in mind to buy? If so let us know what they are like.

😂 in my profession, sensible m&s shoes and Birkenstock’s are conformist.

I have patent navy platform DMs

Converse:
Pink
White rainbow sole platforms
Black with flowers

High tops
Black
Black with Harley Quinn on

I’m always up for buying more though 😉😂

Have you seen those All Saints 2 in 1 dresses? They would look amazing with dark coloured DMs/converse and some layered Jewellery.

I hadn’t thought of all saints, I’m not keen on the blockiness of the top layer but I do like that vibe

I would wear this with DM’s
