Tan sandals, which would you pick?

I keep seeing tan sandals on Instagram, which would you pick? I've had great experiences with fitflop but these Dune ones seem to be all the rage

The tan ones from Dune are popular as they look like Hermes sandals but are a fraction of the price.

I couldn’t wear FitFlop sandals as I’m not young & cool enough for them to be ironic.

The Dune sandals look cheap and uncomfortable imo.

@LizziesTwin I'm just wondering how comfy they are, I'm a size 8 footwise, and a size 14/16 body wise. I'm thinking I might look like an elephant in dainty shoes

Maybe I'm getting old but my first thought was the Dune ones don't look comfy at all.
But I wear Birkenstock's so you might not want to listen to me.

I saw some lovely tan Tom's sandals the other day but they were strappy.

I like the fit flops.The Dune ones look really annoying to me, as if they'd flop off your feet all the time and give you shin splints if you walk more than ten metres.

It depends what you’re looking for. The dune ones are clearly much more fashionable and elegant, but will be less comfy than the fitflops.

Fit flops are so comfortable.

The Dune ones look really bad for your feet and I expect won’t be comfortable. It’s all to do with the unyielding footbed.

I think the Dune sandals, which I’ve tried, would only be good on holiday in a resort. I wouldn’t wear them on the high street as my feet would get dirty.

@MsDastardley just bought the fitflop ones after you said nicer in real life. Plus my other flip-flops are sparkly and I wanted a more subdued look for work if I'm ever in. I'm thinking jeans, white blazer and cami top with tan shoes?!

I prefer the Fitflops ones, although I cannot wear any toe posts as they kill my toes.

I have found that as I have got older, I need some sort of support for shoes, so like a t-bar, or a slingback. When I look at the Dune ones, it just reminds me of the dragging shoe sound when someone doesn't pick up their feet properly to walk. I am slim of foot though, so that might be wear I would never be able to wear a pair of these.

So I vote number 1 as they look the most supportive. And yes, now I am showing my age.........

Ooh, I hope you like them. I thought they were lovely, but I can't keep a flipflop or slide on my foot! They don't look anything like FitFlops IMO. They will be perfect for the look you are after.

Fit flop for me, dont like the look of the Dune ones.
