Nail varnish colours

Hello!

Can someone help me with picking a nail varnish colour for my nails and toes? I don't actually own any nail varnish anymore, mostly because I can't be bothered with doing them and I tend to get more varnish on my skin them my nails 😑🤦🏼‍♀️!

Sooo what colour/colours will look nice on my toes and fingers? I am olive skin toned if that helps!

Oh I also have short nails but my fingers are quite long so they do look ok short 😊

What sort of colours do you wear clothes wise?

@Rollerbird lots of green! White, black, pink, dark/mid blue or black jeans not many colours...

Plum, aubergine, olive, sage, navy, dark red?

I like dark reds in winter & for summer corals or very pale pinks if want to look more neutral.

I would stick to classy and timeless nail colours: bright reds, red-orange, burgundy red / wine red, pale pink / milky pink and various shades of pinks that don't look cheap and tacky (like neon or baby pink). Can't go wrong with those.

This probably doesn’t help OP as I have fair skin but I love Essie nail polishes. I have most of these and wear all on toes or fingers 👍🏻

Sounds to me like orange or coral would be lovely on you. V jealous.

I LOVE that Chanel nail varnish. I wear a very similar colour all year round on short nails (I'm olive skinned too 😊)

No, that would lovely with your skin tone and short nails, it's a gorgeous polish.

It's a nicer coral than in the pics which I think looks classier than my usual deep pinks/reds. I usually buy on ebay for about 8.50 free delivery!

Opi is my favourite brand, nails Inc never fully dries for me. Revlon are good but I hate the thin brush as it leaves streaks. Orly so nice tints similar to Dior nail glow.

Dior have brought some lovely new colours out for Autumn. I've just bought Wild Wings and Early Bird. Would highly recommend.
