Leather Boots for Work

I need some new boots, flat or close to, chunky, comfy for walking 10k steps around a school and that will last a decent length of time. My last two pairs have only lasted a season as the coating has worn off and looks awful. My feet are fairly wide, not sure I want DMs (price is a tad off putting...)

Any suggestions? I would like something that will last me 2-3 years hopefully, buying them and having to chuck after a year seems SO wasteful.

I'd get the DMs. Buy cheap, buy twice, as your last two pairs seem to have demonstrated.

Josef Siebel, they sell them in John Lewis. DMs aren’t built to last anymore.

I have some lovely boots from Celtic & co

Fly London are my go-to boots. I think I've had 3 pairs now of the Mes 2, currently the green pair, but they are SO comfortable and can be dressed up or down (I think).

Try Sole Bliss! They are amazingly comfortable to wear all day and they are made to accommodate wide feet solebliss.com/collections/boots

Still not super cheap, although you can pick them up at the outlets, but I love my calf length Timberlands in black nubuck leather and lace up.

A few years old and going strong.

Unbelievably comfortable

FitFlop do some gorgeous boots. I'm still wearing ones I bought six or seven years ago, but I've bought a few more since then too! My feet are a mess thanks to rheumatoid arthritis/plantar fascitis but FF boots feel like slippers.

I second fly London. I have 3 pairs now and they look good, last well, very comfortable. I'm just looking for another pair in tan

Something like these might work:
www.clarks.co.uk/c/Orianna-Hi/p/26161103
or
www.clarks.co.uk/c/Clarkdale-Lace/p/26162031
or

Maybe?

@FurForksSake Definitely Solovairs! Not cheap but amazing quality. Much much better than DM’s.
