Hiya. I'm looking into buying a Lumea as have battled with unwanted dark hairs since I was a teenager and meno making it worse. Have heard/ read positive feedback. My question is, which model should I buy? Are there any advantages to buying a more expensive model? TIA

I'm on my second now. The first was a lumea essential corded model which ran out of flashes after 3 years. The second is another corded one which was £220 reduced from £300 on Amazon. I avoided cordless versions as the charge can be hit and miss. The cable doesn't get in the way at all. More expensive models have more attachments which I wouldn't use really.

I've had amazing results from the lumea. I used to shave daily and now shave once a month. It is life changing and totally worth persevering with the treatment schedule as you won't see results straight away.

@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting - thank you for replying! Great to hear you've got on so well with yours. Like you, I'm not sure I'd need a flash model. Slightly disappointed in the need to replace after 3 years though - good old planned obscelence 🙄

I used it every 2 weeks at the start though and now it's every 6 weeks so my second model will last longer!

Mine arrived on Friday! Done my face & my armpits!
The impatience though! God I'm going to struggle to wait 2 weeks, just want to keep zapping them!
Obviously I won't because I don't want to damage my skin but bloody hell it's hard- I want the blighters gone!

@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting -fingers crossed! 🤞 Great you don't need to do it so often now.

@TeamRick - good luck! Hope it works really well for you too.

Am quite excited about getting mine now (🧔 = me atm!!)

I had a beard on each of my upper thighs 😩 not any more! I wear actual swimsuits now, not long swimming shorts, and go swimming whenever I like!

Love mine absolute game changer this summer!
