Shopping in Liverpool.

I am going to be in Liverpool in October for a few hours, at which time I am planning on going shopping.
What would be the best area to hit in Liverpool?
I would like to go to shops like Mint Velvet and would like to go to some Independent shops if there is an area where these are?
Don't want to be wasting time wandering around aimlessly!
Any advice, please?

Liverpool One - not the main 3 storey area but behind Paradise Street, walk through between the Starbucks and Too Faced shop. Lots of ‘fancier’ shops there.

Independent shops you’d have to walk further up to Bold Street. Lots of nice places to eat there too.

I love shopping in Liverpool. Aside from it being a beautiful, friendly city, they have & Other Stories ❤️, Arket and other shops that we don’t have near me in the North East.

Don't think I've ever been in an actual & only stories store, I think this day might become a very expensive day (nevermind)
any recommendations for a nice brunch that I won't stand out for being alone? I know I can go anywhere as a one but some places feel awks to me!
