It’s been so long!! I have a wedding to go to next month and just can’t decide what type of thing I want to wear at all!

Any photos/links much appreciated - I just need some inspiration!

Have you thought of renting something? I've been looking at Hurr for a wedding in the autumn but haven't seen anything on there yet. Still, I go to a wedding about once every 15 years now so I think it will make more sense than buying something!

It probably would make more sense as I don’t dress up very much at all but I will definitely be buying something!

If you look on John Lewis app and chooses dresses then filter on Occasion-wedding guest there is lots to look at.

If you could be more specific about your style/size/budget/preferences then it would be easier to narrow it down.

I have a wedding coming up, I have opted for a simple but well made dress with carefully selected accessories. I already have the jacket which has accent colours in it and I’m working with those for more statement shoes and bag. Then loads of layered gold jewellery.
I always have an issue with finding a cover up for a dress and I refuse to buy a pashmina, bolero or shrug so I’ve started with the jacket worked from there in the hope/expectation that I can re-use the other elements for non wedding events.
I guess it’s the reverse approach to normal.

If I wasn’t wearing this outfit I’d go separates. I posted on a thread about an evening outfit that was a ruffled tule midi with crisp shirt. Again with lots of layered gold jewellery.
