How do you get shiny hair?

Dark brown/nearly black hair with a natural wave/curl. How do you get it shiny?

Henna. Looks like you have found with a bag of compost (it's seriously messy). But fab shiny hair for 6 months.

Lots of protein in your diet, and good hydration.

Cold water rinse after washing . Cold as you can stand till your scalp feels all crinkly

Henna never gave me shine
And I've recently used Henna Obovata (Neutral, I don't want colour) it was dreadful, made my hair so dry . Took ages to recover .

Moroccan oil

I colour my hair my own colour, just box dye No problem with regrowth showing and it gives it a great shine.

Unfortunately, hair with a natural wave and/or curl doesn't reflect light as well, so it doesn't 'shine' in the same way straight hair does Additionally, the hair itself has a tendency to be porosity, which lends to a duller appearance.
