Anyone own a trimmer for your bikini line?

After a rather sore slip of the scissors this morning, I'm throwing a strop and I'm going to buy a trimmer.

Anyone got any recommendations? And is it true that mens beard trimmers are a bit better?

Yes, I have a Phillips one, it's great. Can't comment on the beard trimmers.
Hope you didn't do too much damage this morning.

I use the razor I use on my legs. Trick is to marinate the area with baby oil first for five minutes then shave as normal. Used to get awful rash before I came across this tip on here!

I've had a Philips one for women, but end up pinching the others half beard trimmer as it was better, could get closer without any pinching or pulling.

I'm waxing now

I don't want a razor though, Tidypidy

I like a natural look, just a neat natural look.

I’ve used the Wilkinson Sword bikini trimmer for years.

Amazon do their own version too.

Has a normal razor at one end and a battery powered trimming end at the other.

Wilkinson sword Quattro bikini trimmer. Ignore the end with the razor, the other end is a trimmer and works brilliantly for a neat trim.

I have the Philips one as well, does the job and has lasted years!

GoodnightGrandma · 14/08/2021 15:38

Yes I have a trimmer, not sure which one and too lazy to go up and look !
I do mine on a number 2, as number 1 was too short and prickly !
Funnily enough I stopped doing mine and when it grew fully it felt quite itchy !

I've also used the Wilkinson Sword bikini trimmer for years. They give you the perfect close shave but not bald look!

ElspethFlashman · 14/08/2021 15:54

Thanks all, I think I'll try the Wilkinson one as it's a cheap starter one and I like the idea of using the razor end on my underarms. Handy.

You can use it in the shower right?

I use a man's one its the Philips one.

Justcashnosweets · 14/08/2021 16:03

Yes, they are fine to use in the shower.

Porridgeislife · 14/08/2021 16:23

Get a men’s beard trimmer. I’ve had the Quattro and also a couple of Babyliss trimmers, but much prefer the Phillips rechargeable beard trimmer inherited from my other half after he had to buy a spare whilst travelling overseas.

Tidypidy · 14/08/2021 16:28

I only trim around the edges to avoid the spider legs escaping look!

hartof · 14/08/2021 17:52

No but I have used DHs Manscaper and that's pretty good.
