Alternative to Bobbi brown BB cream

Hello,
When Bobbi brown bb cream was discontinued, I stocked up and now my supply has almost run out.
I need a new product. I have ordered 4 or 5 samples from eBay and so far have tried IT CC cream, Laura mercier tinted moisturiser, bare mineral complexion rescue and NARS tinted moisturiser but none are right.
I am almost 40 with combination skin, prone to breakouts and a slightly uneven tone. I think tinted moisturisers are probably a thing of the past as I need slightly better coverage now, but loved the bb cream as I was able to go a shade darker to make me glow a bit, even in the winter.
Thanks for your suggestions

I've got the NARS moisturiser but agree it's not the same so following with hopeful interest!

I use L’Oréal CC cream with a colour corrector for my redness.

I use Chanel Les Beiges tinted moisturiser and am very happy with it

I also use Bobbi Brown foundation - the one with SPF40 ( I think it's 40 ?)

I tried NARS but didn't love it and obviously in lockdown couldn't try any others unless ordered blind which I didn't want to do

Going forward next time I go shopping with beauty options may try Laura Mercier

Try Erborian BB or CC cream. I purchased a travel size from their website and they sent me lots of samples (which I could select) with it.

Currently 20% off on Boots website.

Also sold in Space nk, so you might be able to get samples from them.

Have you tried Erborian BB cream? I think it's the best I've ever used and I used to swear by Chanel or Bobby Brown foundation.

Chantecaille is lovely but mega bucks. If you’ve got a Space NK nearby you could go and try. In fact Hourglass might be good too which you’ll find there.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
@GreyJeans and @peaceanddove I really like the look or the erborian and I had never heard of it before.
I like to use a slightly darker/more tanned shade although I have fair (but not porcelain/alabaster) skin. Any suggestions on shade? I am probably going to go for the nude but wondered if either of you use the dore shade?
Thanks again

@MumOfOneAndAHalf
I'm quite pale and I use the CC cream in Clair. In the depths of winter, it is a little too dark on me, but is great for the rest of the year.

I've heard that the BB has more coverage than the CC.

I've got an unopened sample sachet of the CC in dore if you want me to send it to you?

MumOfOneAndAHalf · 15/08/2021 13:40

Thank you so much for the offer @GreyJeans but I just ordered the small/travel tube in nude and got a sample of the dore with it.

Try Estée Lauder Futurist foundation. You can ask for samples at the EL counter. It's much lighter than the IT Cosmetics CC cream. I also have Chantecaille Just Skin and IT CC cream but I prefer the EL Futurist. For really light coverage I also love Glossier Skin Tint. Sometimes I mix the Glossier and Chantecaille together.

MumOfOneAndAHalf · 21/08/2021 21:44

For completeness sake, I wanted to update. I bought IT CC cream (small tube) but it’s too thick and sticky for me.
I also bought a small tube of erborian bb cream in nude and I love it. It is slightly paler than Bobbi brown bb cream in fair, but if I mixed a little of the erborian bb cream in dore (came as a sample), it is perfect. So I am going to buy a small tube of the bb cream in dore and mix them both together.
Thanks to all who replied, it was really helpful.
