I have changed pill and my chin has erupted in massive spots. I need a concealer that will hide them without making them worse while I use no other makeup. Colour correcting primer hasn't touched them.

On the rare occasion I use foundation it is Revlon Full Cover Matt 150. And I am skint so cheaper the better!

Please please help!

Collection lasting perfection is great for the price. Much pricier but Nars creamy concealer is also very good.

I would speak to the GP about it though, we shouldn't have to suffer bad skin as a result of the pill, perhaps they can prescribe an alternative or a treatment for them to mitigate it.

Any shade suggestions for the Collection one?

My GP wants me to try this for three months - I'm hoping it will settle down in that time and the makeup requirement is temporary. I'm too lazy to keep it up! I totally agree that we should not have to stand for such side effects.

And thank you.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body is excellent. Colour match your skin as closely as possible. You can use it as foundation and blend it out sheer or dot on with small brush and tap with finger to camouflage dark discolouration. Useful item in anyone's makeup bag.

Thank you. I'll try the cheap one first but if that brings me no joy I'll get that. I appreciate the help.

Clinique do a concealer that contains salicylic acid and which is designed for covering spots - Anti Blemish Solutions, it's called.

The Ordinary do a concealer.

Just go for the lightest shade.

The collection concealer has always been really popular because of its staying power and price

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 13/08/2021 02:59

Collection is a popular concealer, as is double wear, but bit sure they'll not make them worse.

I like laura Mercier secret camouflage but can't say it won't make your spots worse.

I'd have thought you would be better with something medicated or a mineral product like bare minerals. They do foundation abs concealer as well as mineral spot treatment you can put foundation or concealer over

I’m sorry but I think pricey concealers are generally better. You can get cheap mascaras and lipsticks that look great (maybelline and topshop) but I’ve always found boi ing from benefit the best. I do have maybelline eraser and a revlon one but they’re not heavy duty.
