I'm looking for your jeans recommendations!

Years ago I head a pair of diesel jeans - straight leg, lowish rise. I loved them...but they don't fit me any more, and I prefer a higher rise now.

Has anyone got any recommendations for styles/makes I should look at?

I don't want skinny...maybe slim or straight? Ones I can either roll up slightly or sit nicely at the ankle...

Thanks 😊

My latest pair are American eagle and I really like them. Mine are skinny but they have other styles too. Considering they come from Amsterdam by the looks of the tracking for the delivery they arrived quickly too.

I hate Jean shopping. I just bought some quite expensive ones from 7 For All Mankind - called the modern straight. Not too high rise, straight, very slightly cropped, raw hem

I've just bought a second pair of And/Or Silverlake jeans from John Lewis. Much more flattering than I was expecting!

If the cost is not the main driving concern, I would look at German made jeans. Robell are worth a look, mid-expensive try Luisa Cerrano, and at the top price-end, Annette Goertz. Because they are not aiming to be cutting edge, hippest in town, these three brands often hit a sweet spot that manage to be both modern and stylish, and comfortable and very wearable. But you will need to track down a stockist near you, and the distribution is mainly via independent boutiques.
