Solovair boots

Saw someone mention Solovair here and wondered what people thought of them? Do you dress them the same as DMs? I like DMs but they just don't seem to suit me.

Solovair are basically DMs. They are the original version from before the name of DM was sold and production of DMs was moved to the Far East.
So Solovair look like DMs, and are the same quality as the old "made in England" DMs. Current DMs look like the old DMs but are not comparable in terms of comfort or quality.
So if DMs don't suit you, Solovairs will not be likely to suit either.

They have loads of styles though, not just plain black boots.

They look exactly the same as DM's to me. I can barely see a difference in the style.

Just resurrecting this thread to ask a Solovair question. Are they a narrow fit? I am a 6, but a wide 6 and I’m wondering whether to size up. It’s the brogue boots I’ve been looking at.
