Im currently using a face vinegar from a brand called Gallinee. I love it and its really helped my skin, but I don't love the price tag!
It contains apple cider vinegar and im wondering if i could just get a bottle of that and dilute it. I know you can do this but has anyone tried it. Was their skin ok?

You would probably get the same effect using standard white vinegar. They are both acetic acid.

The stuff you buy is already about 95% water.

One third apple cider vinegar, one third full cream milk, one third distilled water in a bottle. Shake, and apply with a cotton ball or pad. A bit stinky, but it really clarifies the complexion. For use at home, or overnight, only.

Keep in fridge. Lasts for years!

Wouldn't it be easier (and less putrid) to just use plain yoghurt? That would provide lactic acid without the borking element inherent in plastering ancient curdled milk on your face.

and I had enough of smelling like that by the time I stopped breastfeeding 20 odd years ago

Really don't like the thought of putting a vinegar and milk concoction on my face. I imaging it resembling baby sick!

You can get proper ACV with the mother in Aldis for less than a fiver.

Im trying to work out what you mean or meant when you said with the mother 😂 I actually saw proper ACV in B&M of all places!

The mother is the gloopy bits . You can get ACV without it but that's not the good stuff.

I would never have known that so that's good information!

I squirt standard white vinegar in a little sitting clean water after ive washed and rinsed my face am & pm. We've very hard water and i never joined the dots that my skin got poor when we moved here. The difference is huge. As in i thought i had mild rosacea, but this cheap little routine has cleared all the redness and bumps. ACV prob just a better version due to good bacteria or whatnot, maybe half a capful in an inch or two of freah water as a final rinse?
