Foreo Bear - very sensitive skin

I’m thinking of getting the Foreo Bear, even if the results are “just mild” (after two sleepless years as a first time mum, I’ll take anything!)

My problem is that I seem to have become very prone to perioral dermatitis since pregnancy. Basically, anything from retinol to the Foreo Luna (vibrating brush) to an over-eager go with a face roller will leave me with a sore and itchy rash around the eyes and mouth/chin area. One time I had to get antibiotics for it from the GP but have since broadly learned the triggers and manage it better.

My question is, does the Foreo Bear create any friction on the skin itself? If anyone has any thoughts as to whether it’s likely to aggravate my sensitive skin I’d be so grateful.

I have the FOREO Bear, the big one, not the mini. I put aloe Vera gel on my face as a barrier and then use it.
I think if you use enough gel you won't have a problem with friction.

There's no friction the way there is with the Foreo cleansing brushes but I think since you're so hypersensitive I'd be wary about the conducting product you use with it and make sure you don't react to that before buying it.

Are you still currently pregnant? I don't know what Foreo says but Nuface advices not to use their microcurrent device during pregnancy.

Thank you, very helpful points. No, not pregnant. But will test the product before getting it. That makes perfect sense now!
