Bronze Goddess - a costly error

Hello, I've been on the hunt for a new perfume and smelt this in Boots today - it smelt heavenly so I bought a bottle. Got it home and spritzed it on myself and it just doesn't suit me at all. Somehow the new bottle is far stronger than the version in the shop. What a disappointment!

I used to wear Ralph Lauren Romance. Any suggestions or recommendations for perfumes in a similar vein?

Such a shame. I love the smell of BG but it doesn’t last more than 10 seconds on me. If you like the smell and want a dupe, Next do one that is very similar. In fact I quite like a few of the next perfumes.

If you like Ralph Lauren Romance try Floral Street Neon Rose. You can buy lovely discovery sets from their website too.

I have sold some of my perfume errors on eBay. You’d get some of you’d money back that way which you could put towards a new one. Even if you’d had a few sprays of it you’d probably get a fair bit for it. I just say how much I’ve used and why I’m selling it.

Neon Rose was sent to me as a tester by lookfantastic - it is beautiful! Quite strong though.

Eau de Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford is my fave subtle daytime summer fragrance. It smells like sun cream and sunshine.

I love Bronze Goddess, but despite all the marketing, I find it a heavier, winter perfume on me. I find it overpowering in the summer. If you really don’t think you will use it though, I’d second PP and sling it on eBay. I’m always surprised how easy perfume is to sell there.
