Shoes for flares / wide leg

I have recently bought some lovely flares and wide leg trousers but I'm having a problem with what shoes to wear with them. My trainers, converse and ankle boots look a bit silly with them. I can't wear pointy shoes due to wide feet. I think I need heels, as the trousers are on the long side, but I'm totally stumped! Please help!

You need proper trainers not converse. Like Nike AirMax

I wear adidas superstars or clogs with my flared trousers. Birkenstocks with wide-legged summer trousers.

I wear my Sole Bliss trainers with flares which I think looks good!

I’d try platform trainers? I think the round toe looks better than pointy so you’re not missing out!
